ABOUT
THE ALMAS
https://www.almastheband.com/
The Almas are an all original female-fronted hard rock band hailing from New Munster, Wisconsin with an extensive tour history and multiple Active Rock Radio charting singles. The band is composed of Crystal Teigland [lead vocalist], Frank Slifka [founding member/lead guitarist], and Josh Sukowski [guitarist].
Through guitar driven licks, road dog attitudes, and a high energy, professional live performance, The Almas showcase the truest essence of Rock n' Roll with a modern twist! After working with Kile Odell [#1 Active Rock charting producer], The Almas are able to bring their vision to life on their newest EP ‘The Almas II’. The first single "Cage" off the EP took to radio in February 2023 and swiftly shot into the Top 10 on the Mainstream/Active Rock Radio SMR charts, with their next radio release "Crowns" following suit into the #18 spot.
In 2023 alone, the band has covered over 40,000 miles across the United States and just over 120 shows. “The existence of this band has always been about helping each other” Frank explains, “whether it’s through inspiration, a positive message, or simply creating a fun, entertaining environment where people can get away from life’s problems.”
Since forming in 2016, the band has released a self-titled EP and two full length albums 'Back To Bad' and ‘Truth Sells,’ and in June 2023 signed to Wake Up! Music Rocks. In promotion of their music, the band has shared the stage with artists such as Saliva, Buckcherry, PLUSH, Smile Empty Soul, Royal Bliss, and Saving Abel, as well as festival performances alongside the likes of Slipknot, Ice Nine Kills, Falling In Reverse, and Flyleaf. In 2023 alone, the band has covered over 40,000 miles across the United States and just over 120 shows.
The Almas are well known for their undying commitment to mental health awareness, including their support of numerous Veteran events, specifically Rock2Stop22. The Almas exists for its fans, because of its fans.
